The BBIFF is a monthly live screening film festival with an annual mega event held in India’s City of Joy, Kolkata. It is a Progressive Film Movement that aims to provide a platform for aspiring filmmakers and celebrate cross-cultural understanding through international film. A team of film industry specialists judges all projects on a high level of merit and inventiveness.

In addition to the “Winners” for each category, there are “Finalists” and “Honorable Mentions”.

We rate all of the officially selected projects on IMDb.

Monthly winners are immediately eligible to enter the Annual Awards competition. Each category will have a winner chosen by the jury board, who will then receive our official trophy at the yearly event.

The BBIFF official laurel and a personalized certificate of success will be awarded to all projects that are officially selected in each monthly round, contingent on their ultimate standing in the competition.
